How can I get 30 minutes of physical activity a day?

Day one and three:

  • 8 minutes taking the stairs instead of the elevator
  • 8 minutes chasing the dog, kids or grandkids around the yard
  • 14 minutes walking briskly around the block/park/office during the lunch break or after dinner

 

Day two and four:

  • 10 minutes biking to work or the store
  • 15 minutes raking leaves or mowing the lawn
  • 5 minutes doing sit-ups and/or push-ups

 

Day five and seven:

  • 10 minutes dancing to a favorite song
  • 10 minutes walking the dog
  • 10 minutes washing and waxing the car

 

Day six:

  • Pick the activities you enjoyed the most and repeat.
